Cost of Energy Production

The best way to legitimately consider cost of different sources of energy production is to determine the kWh cost.  This calculation is broken down into the following equations:

Construction/kWh + Production/kWh + Decommissioning/kWh (nuclear only) = Total Cost/kWh

Once the calculations are performed nuclear and coal come out at about .04$/kWh while wind and natural gas are between .05 and .1 $/kWh.  Hydro is the cheapest; however, is not a feasible option in most places.  Solar comes in as the most expensive by far.
